Penticton Peach Festival Returns This August
One of the most anticipated summer events for us is the Aug 5-9 Penticton Peach Festival. This long-running celebration attracts visitors from across British Columbia and Alberta every August and remains one of Penticton’s most well-known traditions.
The festival features free live music, family activities, parades, food vendors, outdoor entertainment, beach activities, and fireworks along the waterfront. Residents and visitors gather throughout the city to enjoy the exciting atmosphere while supporting local businesses and organizations during one of the busiest times of year in Penticton.
The Peach Festival is also a great opportunity for families and friends to spend quality time together while enjoying the beach, local restaurants, and beautiful Okanagan Lake. Events like the Festival help to create the welcoming atmosphere Penticton is known for.

Oliver Sunshine Festival Celebrates Community Connection
Further south, the June 12-21 Oliver Sunshine Festival is another popular summer event that highlights the welcoming atmosphere of Oliver. The Sunshine Festival is 10 days of free and ticketed events that include live entertainment, local vendors, family activities, food, and even a Pickleball Tournament on June 13-14 and a Meat Draw on June 15!
Oliver is already well known for its many fabulous wineries and beautiful scenery, and the Sunshine Festival adds even more energy to the community during the summer. Families, friends, and visitors are sure to enjoy the many outdoor entertainment events, while supporting the local businesses and organizations of Oliver.
